Scandy Lookout
Scandy is a 3D scanning app that allows user’s the ability to make mesh 3D files using the facial recognition camera’s found in iPhones. Unfortunately the biggest issue is user’s can’t see their screen while scanning because of where the cameras are located. The Scandy lookout was developed to redirect the scanning orientation for a better user experience. It utilizes a mirror to allow the user to see their screen while scanning.
TrayAway Project "Feedback"
TrayAway in collaboration with Burlodge discovered a market opportunity amongst the health care industry where hospitals are monetarily impacted based on the reviews of patients. The U.S. government rewards hospitals that are reviewed better by patients using Medicaid or government assistance. This is to incentivize hospitals to remain competitive in the quality of care they are giving. We created the Feedback, a device which would ask patients a series of questions based on the government surveys. This feedback would allow hospitals to better understand where they should look to improve their survey score. A higher score could result in millions of extra dollars allocated from the government. Getting feedback is key.
IMS Refinery Scale Model
This scale model of a refinery was 3′ by 6′ in size and printed entirely in Colored Resin. We converted the files from the client to a 3D printable format. Each piece was printed processed and assembled to create an amazing display model.
Second Line Custom Bar Tap
New Orleans’ airport (MSY) is the state’s largest consumer of beer. Second Line wanted us to design, develop, and manufacture custom bar taps so that when patrons would sit at the bar they would see the chrome propeller tap and inquire about what beer that tap was for. These taps were designed for physical marketing.
Rip Grip Pro
Our Client was an experienced baseball coach who had been using a plumbing C-clamp with a ping pong ball hot glued to it as a training device for his son. After many sketches, user testing, and ergonomic variations, we found a design that worked well in practice. Now RGP has clients that trust and utilize the training potential at every level of competitive baseball. Athletes from youth playgrounds to the major leagues.
